2021 CUE SIG Conference

Welcome to the JALT CUE SIG 2021 Conference

To be held online Saturday, September 11, 2021

The CUE SIG was formed in 1993, with the aim of creating a professional network for instructors of foreign languages employed at colleges and universities in Japan. Our first conference was held in 2000 on the theme of Content in Language Education. In 2018, we held our 25th anniversary conference, and last year, the 2020 CUE Conference was held online for the first time. Thanks to the dedication of our members, we have been committed to organizing opportunities for networking, publishing, and presenting.

This year, the organizing committee has decided to hold the JALT CUE SIG 2021 Conference online. Details about the plenary speaker are forthcoming. At this time, we look forward to receiving presentation proposals on the latest research and practice on topics related to college and university educators. In addition, we invite proposals for workshops on topics related to professional development at the tertiary level. More details on the session formats can be found in the call for papers.

The CUE SIG welcomes your participation, and we are looking forward to a full day of presentations and discussions on September 11, 2021. We hope you’ll  join us!
